Farmery Misery, Mrs Misery and their two lazy nephews lived in the dirtiest farmhouse you ever saw and grumbled and groaned from morning till night. Farmer Misery had a bee in his bonnet about exterminating the pests eating his peas. He mistakenly thought bumble bees were eating them. He decided to get rid of the bumble bees of Bumble Bee Bank. He bit off more than he could chew, finishing up with a few bruises and a good few stings on various tender parts of his body.
In this exciting book, a battle develops as Farmer Misery becomes more and more extreme, using insecticides, bombs and missiles. Eventually, a pile of explosives becomes too much for him.
